Hey World
It is the Sunday before Christmas. We are having cold weather here. Frost a couple of days, but no frost this morning. Donna's son Steven and his family came by for an hour or two this a.m. We sent back a boxful of xmas gifts. I insisted that I get to see them open one gift here so they opened one gift for me. I made dolls for the two girls, Hannah 7 and Rebekah 8. I compiled a magic box for Robert 10. and gave Gabriel a necktie snake. It all started when the thrift store had a special sale on ties, 50 CENTS EACH and I COULD NOT MISS SUCH A BARGAIN FOR IMPORTED SILK. (My computer just had a senior moment.) I bought nine and made two silk snakes and four silk dolls with polymer clay faces and arms. I used lots of beads and some cool fabric for clothes. Robert was confused about the magic box, but before they left he had figured it out and could already do a card trick.
I still have not completed my shopping. We will go to Sylvia's on Christmas eve, spend Christmas day with her and grand daughter Elizabeth and hopefully see grandson Daniel and his beautiful bride e*Liz*abeth. We will most likely come home on the 26th. Then hopefully Sylvia and Elizabeth can come here New Years Eve and we can use that tiny box of fireworks to welcome the New Year. Then on New Years Day we five can go to see grandson Mathew and the love of his life Ashley. Daughter Donna is suppose to meet us there and hopefully Grand daughter Sherri, her hubby Bobby and great grand daughter Tori Rose can also come. We will exchange gifts and visit and catch up on things. Then we come home that night. That is a lot of driving for Grandpa and he is not getting any younger...he will be 72 this coming February 3rd. So have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!Love you all Ruby
