After attending five different schools, I chose to get married instead of going back for my senior year. After ten years of marriage and four children I went back to school to finish my senior year. I grew up in Texas and attended Texas schools, but after my marriage, I moved all over the southern half of the United States. So when I decided to go back to school we were living in California. I attended Bakersfield Adult School to finish my senior year at the age of 29. I had a choice to make; I could either attend my graduation or go back to Texas and see my Mother whom I had not seen in several years. I choice to see my Mother.
Then I started taking classes at Bakersfield College and earned my AA degree in Psychology at the age of 35. I did attended the graduation exercises to get my AA. It was quite an experience. The service was held in an out-door theater at BC. A storm passed through during the exercise. Clouds came up and there was thunder and lightning and a sprinkle of huge rain drops pounded down on us for about thirty seconds. That was the most exciting, memorable event I have ever attended!!
During the next several years I started attending classes at California State University of Bakersfield. I attended classes majoring in Biology and earned my diploma in June 1991. That was over ten years ago and I think I have finished school.
